Location
Don Diego de la Selva is located 5 minutes walk from Tulum town, it is a boutique hotel in a gorgeous jungle garden setting with fruit filled trees and an array of wild birds. The garden dips in and out giving each room space and privacy and loops you through the trees to the gorgeous pool and the open air restaurant El Paladante.
To lay your head
The rooms are bright, airy and spacious. Gorgeous Mexican detailing compliments beautifully the modern white spaces. Each room is unique, with thoughtful design features like sunlit showers.
There are three kinds of rooms; lush double rooms, family rooms and thatched roofed cabanas. Upstairs rooms include private internal balcony’s and lush views, downstairs rooms with private gardens. There are big soft hammocks everywhere you might need one!
Eating
El Paladante is the in house restaurant serving up a delicious fusion of contemporary gourmet meals.
Surprisingly the hotel has their own organic farm and the quality of the ingredients is evident in heir offering, including divine freshly made condiments with every meal. Breakfast is included with all room rates. Don’t forget to try the incredible Mayan honey from the garden!

Activities
As well as the total relaxation in hammocks and by the tranquil hotel pool. Tulum is full of exciting things to do including visiting beach side ruins, snorkeling or diving local cenotes, meandering down stunning white sand beaches, shopping for local trinkets or enjoying a few drinks in town.

Lovely place to stay, we enjoyed it and it was across from our Chac Mool Spanish School, so easy to walk to lessons each day. Wonderful hosts and recommend staying here.
